The licencing requirements for UpToDate are very restrictive. The subscription available across SMAHS is facility based. It is only available at the physical campuses of :

• Royal Perth Hospital

• Fremantle Hospital and Health Service

• Armadale-Kelmscott Memorial Hospital

• Bentley Hospital

• Rockingham General Hospital

Alternative online resources are available for staff offsite:

• American College of Physicians PIER [Physicians’ Information and Education Resource with American Hospital Formulary Service Drug Information Essentials] and
• DynaMed
