Breast Cancer Clinical Psychology Service

The Breast Cancer Clinical Psychology Service is a free specialist service for patients with cancer.

Patients can access sessions with the Senior Clinical Psychologist who specialises in the emotional impact of a breast cancer diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment.

Patients with breast cancer may notice an increase in worries, change in moods and a strain on relationships. How patients manage emotionally can be a major factor in how cancer affects their lives.

The Breast Cancer Clinical Psychology Service was established to help breast cancer sufferers better manage the emotional pressures and provide specialist clinical psychology input.

We work in conjunction with other health professionals to provide a multi-disciplinary approach to optimise your care.

TeleHealth appointments can also be arranged for patients in regional areas who are under the medical governance of Royal Perth Hospital.

We do not offer a crisis service. If you require assistance after hours, please contact your GP or visit your closest Emergency Department.

All patients can access the service by asking a member of your treating team to provide a referral for you. If patients wish to find out more, please contact us directly to discuss or to request our information brochure.
