P.A.R.T.Y in hospital
The in hospital P.A.R.T.Y. Program Day is an engaging, full-day event filled with powerful presentations and small group activities. Participants will have the chance to interact with St John Ambulance Paramedics, doctors, and nurses, and will visit some of the hospital’s key departments, including:
- Emergency Department
- Intensive Care Unit
- State Major Trauma Units/wards
They’ll see firsthand the emotional and physical impact of trauma through real patient stories and experience the challenges of rehabilitation with interactive exercises led by allied health professionals. The day wraps up with an injury survivor sharing their personal journey, highlighting the long-term impact of trauma on their life and family.

P.A.R.T.Y outreach
The P.A.R.T.Y. Outreach Program brings the same valuable trauma prevention education to schools and youth groups that can’t attend the full-day session. This condensed version delivers the core messages of the program in an engaging presentation, and this style of presentation allows much larger groups to participate. Additionally, the Rural Outreach Programs extend this education to remote areas of WA, making sure that students in regional towns don’t miss out on this important learning opportunity.
The Outreach Program can be complemented by a guest presentation from an injury survivor. These powerful talks provide additional insight into the impacts of spinal cord or brain injuries. Fees may apply for this valuable addition. Please consider wheelchair access if necessary.
