Physiotherapy

The main aim of Physiotherapy is to restore function to the body or to minimise dysfunction following an illness, disease or injury. Our services are offered to all patients to assist recovery and improve their quality of life.

A combination of education, manual therapy, movement re-education, physical intervention and electro-physical equipment is used.

We have more than 100 full-time and part-time physiotherapists who work in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.

Our Physiotherapists play an important role in helping major trauma patients.

We also help patients with haemophilia and those undergoing spinal or acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
